What if ... New Mills had an Outdoor Imaginarium? A place where you could go to dream, reimagine and create longing for a different kind of future? A place to connect to our world, our community and each other? A secret, not so secret space?

Since March 2024, Otherland has been taking shape.

The first thing local artist, Kerry Howarth, needed to do was to help heal the land - clearing the rubbish dumped on the site over the years and shepherding the vegetation into shape. It has responded beautifully.

This project is an independent community asset for all local groups.
